The ski areas of the Ötztal
Längenfeld is the ideal starting point for wonderful winter days in the ski areas of the rear Ötztal. The two top ski areas Sölden (145 kilometres of slopes / 33 lifts) and Obergurgl (110 kilometres of slopes / 24 lifts) are neighbours of Längenfeld and lie practically next door. Sölden Ski Area
The ski area of superlatives in the Alps. 146 km of perfectly groomed slopes, 2 glaciers and 31 state-of-the-art lifts make every skier's heart beat faster.
Gurgl Ski Area
The Diamond of the Alps more than lives up to its name with 110 kilometres of slopes and 24 lifts. Excellent slopes well into spring are guaranteed here.
Skigebiet Hochoetz
Das Skigebiet am Taleingang des Ötztales ist besonders für Familien geeignet. Die 41 Pistenkilometer und 12 Liftanlagen bieten Skispass für Jung und Alt.
The ski areas of the Ötztal:
No fewer than 6 ski areas (Hochgurgl-Obergurgl, Sölden, Hochötz, Niederthai, Vent, Gries) await your discovery in the Ötztal. Together, these add up to more than 350 kilometres of skiing fun. 90 lifts ensure that you are guided comfortably and conveniently up to altitudes of 3,000 metres. There, the best slope conditions and wonderful ski runs await you amid the Ötztal mountain panorama, right into May. Skiing here is simply fun.
Useful information for your skiing fun in the Ötztal
If you spend your holiday at the Hotel Hirschen, you are in the immediate vicinity of the large ski areas of the rear Ötztal. You can also enjoy the wonderful descents without travelling by your own car – the ski bus makes it possible.
The ski bus to Sölden, Obergurgl and Oetz runs every 10 minutes. The journey is free of charge for ski pass holders, and the stop is located right by the hotel.
You don't have the right equipment for the huge range of leisure activities in the Ötztal? No problem, because in Längenfeld you can hire everything you need for your winter activities. From complete ski and snowboard equipment to cross-country and telemark skis and even a curling stone set.

Beginners will find numerous slopes with a low level of difficulty in the surrounding ski areas. You can also turn to one of the local ski schools to learn skiing properly from scratch. The local ski schools will teach you to ski in no time – and of course, the fun is never neglected.

The Ötztal Super Skipass is valid from the purchase of a 3-day ski pass and is available in the Hochoetz-Kühtai, Sölden, Gurgl and Vent ski areas as well as in the online ski ticket shops of Sölden and Gurgl. From the 6-day ski pass onwards, admission to the James Bond Adventure World 007 ELEMENTS and the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum is included.
